“Be better tomorrow, than today“
Who am I?
I am 41-year-old finnish woman. I became famous in winter sports during my 15-years long international career as biathlete, which came to an end in the spring of 2020.
I achieved three overall World Cup victories; 2011, 2014 and 2018.
I am World Champion 2011 and have 5 other medals in World Champs.
I was born in 1983 in Ristijärvi, the smallest municipality in Kainuu, but I have been rooted in North Karelia since 2003.
Today I work as a private entrepreneur, I do versatile media and sports work.
I remain closely involved in the world of biathlon, serving as a representative for athletes on the IBU technical committee and working as a sports expert at Yle.
I do endurance sports and I like knitting and gardening. Enjoy my homepage and get contact if I have something I can offer for you!
